This week we dive into the uniqueness of our spirit. Inner doubt and how we can be determined in our self confidence. What is Never Gonna Give You Up about The song is about the singers commitment to. We explored the Inner Critic and Inner Coach. The meaning of the song Never Gonna Give You Up, based on the lyrics. Saying I don't like that or no that's not right. The conversation in week one unfolded into a discussion on speaking up as an act of self love and not speaking up as an act of self betrayal. We defined self love and looked at how we loved and did'nt express love that week based on personal definitions. Over the past 3 weeks I have been journeying with tween/teen girls with Self Love. In 1892 William James delivered a lecture to teachers in Cambridge arguing that the “great thing” in education is to “make our nervous system our ally instead of our enemy.” Dwelling in the present moment I know this is the only moment.”

Programming the nervous system for a different experience from what the usual stories around exams may be telling us. We prepare emotionally, mentally and physically for the exams through the tools of breath mindfulness and movement. You are studying and preparing for exams, so let's ensure that you are confident, joyful and calm. I've been doing mindfulness coaching for exams so I thought I would share what we did last week.
